Yeah I am, as I mentioned everything was working, its the same application. I did however also test it by creating a new application. I even went as far as using the sample website application for the controlkit and still have issues.
Okay that situation has been resolved. I just did system restore to back the few hours ago, however I cant honestly tell you what the issue was to begin with. I would still like to know if anyone has any ideas how I could avoid this should it popup again in future.

do one thing backup your web.config file.Now take a new project which is ajax enabled web site and now replace all the content of web.config file with the one of ajax enabled web.config file then add all your connection string etc in tht.
